By default, PMs in COR have the following permissions:
As in this role, unlike the C-Level or Director, the permissions are reduced, the actions are also reduced. In this case, it is important to take into account the types of permissions, since several of them are tied together.
Independent permissions
- Customers: View, Edit, and Create any customer for the account.
- Tasks Deadline: Edit and Delete dates within any task for which you have access.
- Passwords: View, Edit, Create, and Delete any password for the account.
- Contacts: View, Edit, Create, and Delete any contacts in the account. With this permission, you can create a login for customers to view their projects and tasks.
- Notifications: View and Edit your notification settings.
- Project Templates: View, Edit, and Create any template for the account.
Linked Permissions
- Projects: View, Edit, Create, and Archive “Yours Only” projects. In order to perform these actions (view, edit, and archive), you need to be a member of the project (in the case of create, there are no limitations).
- Tasks: View, Edit, Create, Archive and Delete “All” tasks. As this permission is tied to the project permission, it means that you can perform these actions for all tasks of the projects for which you are a member.
- Hours: View, Edit, Create, and Delete hours for any user. This permission enables different functionalities of the section. You can view all the data, generate reports from the “Hours” tab, and view all the “Activity” of the user's hours computation. You will only be able to view the payroll section depending on your user permissions (by default it is empty, so you cannot use it in that case). As for the hours computation, both for yourself and for other users, it is tied to the access to the tasks.
- Gantt: View, Edit, and Create tasks from Team Gantt. This permission is also tied to your access to tasks and projects. If the PM does not have permission to view a task in the list (since it is not part of the project to which it belongs), he/she will not be able to view it from the Gantt either.
