Logging the hours worked is essential to understand how much time we are dedicating to each of our clients, if it is necessary to adjust the scope of work, renegotiate conditions and allocate more resources to the account, among others.
This allows us to have visibility on the work being done and thus alleviate the work overload of each of us. That is why within COR we have the option to track the time worked on each of our tasks and this can be done in different ways and sections, depending on our work modality.
How to Track Time
Where to Track Time
Suggested Hours
We can automatically log our time worked, accepting the suggested hours that we will find in the "My Hours" and "Timesheet" sections of Hours and within the "Hours" tab of the Task Panel.
Play Button
From any Task list (within Projects, Tasks and My Tasks) and the Task Panel, we have the option to upload our hours in real time with the play button .
After clicking on the play button, to save the tracked time, we just need to click on stop .
When the Play Button is active, we will notice the time being logged in the upper margin of COR. From there we will be able to see the elapsed time, the task for which the play button is being used and we can also click on stop to end the tracking. In the same way, we will be able to see the time from the task list, if the task is in our selected view:
In the task panel, we can also see the elapsed time and click stop to save it:
Note: If we forget to click on stop, when 24 hours have elapsed in the day, it will automatically shut down.
When we click on the play button, we will notice that the icon will disappear from the "actions" column of the task lists, until we click on stop.
Additionally, if the task we are starting to work on is in "New" status and we click on the play button, it will automatically switch to "In Process".
Quick Track
Within the tasks, we have a drop-down to fast load 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours in the current day:
Time Tracking Panel
In different sections of COR, we will find the Time Tracking icon to open the Time Tracking Panel. There we will be able to select the desired task, the specific date and the exact time we were working.
In the drop-down list of tasks, we will see by default all the active tasks that we have assigned as a collaborator. If we want to track time in a task that we no longer have assigned or that is archived, we can type its name or ID.
To help identify the tasks, we can find the name of the client and project to which they belong, their status and deadline.
Note: If the panel is opened from the icon associated to a specific task, the task will be selected by default and we will only be able to select the day and track time to track time.
We have the option to select the specific date we need to track time by clicking on the date field. This will open a calendar, which by default will have the current day selected, but we can click on any other day we need to log our hours. Additionally, we will see a red dot on the days that we have not logged all of our working hours.
On the selected day, we will be able to see the progress according to our daily working hours. By hovering the cursor over the information icon , it will show us the detail of the hours logged on that date.
To finish, we must indicate the hours and/or minutes we wish to add to the selected task and date and then click on "Accept":
Additionally, if we have the necessary permissions, we can select different users to track their time worked:
COR Top Section
In whichever section of COR we find ourselves, we will see the Time Trackin button at the top:

In the general COR search, we can quickly search for a task and click on the track time icon to log our time.
In this case, as the icon was selected from a specific task, it will already be selected in the Time Tracking Panel.

In the task panel, we will also be able to open the Time Tracking Panel, to log hours on a specific date. Also, being inside a task, it will be assigned by default in the panel:
