The Activity view allows us to see, in real time, the status of users time tracking during the day. From this section, we can quickly identify who is currently tracking time, who has already logged hours today, and who has not recorded any activity yet.
The information is organized into three blocks —Active now, Active earlier today, and No activity today— which provide a quick overview and immediate context about the team’s daily activity, without the need to access reports or apply additional filters.
Active now
In the Active now block, we see users who are currently tracking time using the Play button. This section allows us to quickly identify who has an active time entry.
For each user, we see their profile picture and name on the left, along with the number of hours logged so far during the day. On the right, we can see the task on which time is currently being tracked, giving us real-time visibility into what each user is working on.
Active earlier today
In the Active today section, we see users who have already logged hours during the day, with the information organized by person. For each user, hours logged to each task are listed individually.
Each row represents a specific time entry recorded during the day, showing the associated task and, on the far right, the amount of time logged. This includes all hours logged to tasks, regardless of the way in which the hours were recorded.
This view makes it easy to understand how each user’s time has been distributed throughout the day.
No activity today
In the No activity today block, we see users who have not logged hours during the day, but who did log hours at some point prior to the current day.
For each user, we see their profile picture and name, along with a reference indicating when they last logged hours. This information provides context about the most recent activity and helps identify cases where time tracking may still be pending.
