Logging the hours worked is essential to understand how much time we are dedicating to each of our clients, if it is necessary to adjust the scope of work, renegotiate conditions and allocate more resources to the account, among others.
This allows us to have visibility on the work being done and thus alleviate the work overload of each of us. That is why within COR we have the option to track the time worked on each of our tasks and this can be done in different ways and sections, depending on our work modality.

How to Track Time
Suggested Hours
We can automatically track the time worked by accepting the suggested hours that appear in the “My Hours” and ‘Timesheet’ sections of Hours, as well as in the “Hours” tab of the task panel.
We can accept the suggestion with the thumbs up icon (green) or reject it with the thumbs down icon (red). We can also edit it using the pencil icon.
In addition, in the “My Hours” section, we can accept all the suggested hours for the week by clicking on the “Accept suggestions” button located at the top of the list of dates.
Play Button
From any Task list (within Projects, Tasks and My Tasks) and the Task Panel, we have the option to log our hours in real time with the play button .
After clicking on the play button, to save the tracked time, we just need to click on stop .
When the play button is active, we will notice the time being logged in the upper margin of COR. From there we will be able to see the elapsed time, the task for which the play button is being used and we can also click on stop to end the tracking. In the same way, we will be able to see the time from the task list, if the task is in our selected view:
In the task panel, we can also see the elapsed time and click stop to save it:
Note: if we forget to click stop, the timer will automatically stop after 24 hours have passed in the day.
When we click on the play button, we will notice that the icon will disappear from the "actions" column of the task lists, until we click on stop.
Additionally, if the task we are starting to work on is in "New" status and we click on the play button, it will automatically switch to "In Process".
Quick Track
Within the tasks, we have a drop-down to quick track 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours in the current day:
Time Tracking Panel
In different sections of COR, we will find the Time Tracking icon to open the Time Tracking Panel. There we will be able to select the desired task, the specific date and the exact time we were working.
In the task dropdown, we see by default all the tasks we’ve recently interacted with and that are assigned to us as collaborators or PMs. To make identification easier, the client and project names, status, and deadline are also displayed.
Note: if we open the modal from the icon of a specific task, that task will be preselected; we’ll only need to choose the date and the time to log.
If we want to track time for a task that doesn’t appear in the list, we can search for it by typing its name or ID. We can also enable the project search: first, we find the project we worked on, and then select the desired task within that project.
We can select the date on which we want to track our time by clicking the date field. A calendar will open with the current day preselected, though we can choose any other day to enter hours. Additionally, days on which we haven’t logged at least 80% of our working hours (based on our configured work schedule) will be marked with an orange dot.
For the selected day, we will see the hours already recorded versus our goal for that day, according to the working hours configured in our profile.
Finally, we must indicate the hours and/or minutes we want to track to the task and the selected date; then we will click on “Accept” to calculate the hours and close the modal, or on “Accept & keep charging” to continue tracking time on other tasks and/or dates.
Additionally, if we have the necessary permissions, we can select different users to track their time worked:

COR Top Section
In whichever section of COR we find ourselves, we will see the 'Track Time' button at the top:
Search Bar
In the general COR search, we can quickly search for a task and click on the track time icon to log our time.
In this case, as the icon was selected from a specific task, it will already be selected in the Time Tracking Panel.
Task Panel
In the task panel, we will also be able to open the Time Tracking Panel, to log hours on a specific date. Also, being inside a task, it will be assigned by default in the panel:
Tasks Lists
Both from the Tasks list, as well as from My Tasks and within a project, we can find the Time Tracking icon in the "Actions" column:
Gantt Chart
In the Gantt Chart, we can click on any task to get to the "Track time" option:
Hours Section
Within the "My Hours" section, we can open the modal using the “+ Track Time” button in the daily list. In this case, we can only select the task and the time to log, since the date is set by default to the selected day.
Planner
In the Planner section, you will find the “Track time” view. From there, you can track time on planned tasks by clicking on the box showing tracked hours vs. planned hours, located in the lower right corner of each allocation.
You can choose between opening the modal by clicking on the track time icon, or logging all the planned time for the assignment at once by clicking on the green check mark.
Calendar Events
If we have integration with Google or Outlook Calendar enabled, we can manually track the time of our events to tasks; or automatically, in the case of recurring events.
