Within Microsoft Teams, there is the possibility of integrating our COR account, either to manage our tasks and track time, or to receive notifications within the conversations.
COR Application
Connection (BETA)
NOTE: At the moment it is not possible to find the App in the directory, therefore it is necessary to download the Application (Microsof Teams - COR.zip) and continue with step 2 of the connection. |
Step 1 (BETA): To associate our COR account in Microsoft Teams, we have to click on the 3 dots in the left menu and then look for the application in the directory:
Step 2: When clicking on the COR application, a new modal will open, in which we will have to click on the "Add" button to continue with the connection.
Note: When adding the application, in addition to displaying it in the directory, we will notice that the COR BOT will be activated in the Microsoft Teams chat.
This will allow us to access the COR application within Microsoft Teams and by default we will enter the "Activity" tab.
To log in to the COR application within Microsoft Teams, we must go to the "My Tasks" or "My Hours" tab and then select "Login".
This will open a new window for us to log in to COR, if we are not logged in to the browser. Here we must add our COR username and password, with the same steps we followed in How to access to our COR account.
If we do not remember our password, we can follow the steps in Reset COR password.
The next step, after logging in, is to select the account we want to view in Microsoft Teams:
This will take us to the consent tab and we will have to select "Allow" to finalize the synchronization.
Note: If we have multiple accounts, after accessing one, we have to log out to access another one.
Activity
When entering the COR application, by default we will be in the Activity section, where we will be able to access the details of COR's Terms of Use and Privacy.
My Tasks
In the second tab of the COR application, we will access "My Tasks", which are those that are active and assigned to us, just like inside COR.
From here, we will have a quick access to those tasks, we will be able to log time to them and also create new tasks.
My Hours
Within the application, the "My Hours" tab is also a quick access to visualize our logged time and where we can also log more hours.
About
Finally in the COR application, we have the "About" tab, which details the COR information, the version of the integration and where we also have quick access to the Website, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
Note: It is possible that the version we are using is different from the one shown in this image.
Finally, we can also access the application from our Microsoft Teams Chat:

To disassociate the project and no longer receive notifications from it, simply click on the trash can icon.
When any of the actions that we have set up in our notifications are generated in COR, the COR BOT will inform us of the news in the chat or in the Microsoft Teams conversations. It is important to note that the notification will always arrive in the General channel of our Team.

To select the notifications we want to receive from the projects we have linked, we must enter "Notifications Settings".
By default, we will have the "Essential and Important" option selected, which includes upcoming deadlines, new discussion, project status change and estimated hours reached on projects.
