At COR we have the possibility of integrating multiple applications through Zapier to automate and streamline our daily work processes.
Zapier Access
In order to access the benefits of the integration it is necessary to create an account in Zapier through the following link: https://zapier.com/sign-up
Zapier gives us the possibility of logging in using our Google, Facebook, Microsoft account or creating a user within the same platform.
Integration with COR
The integration is bidirectional and is currently in the homologation stage by Zapier, so that COR is listed in the application directory. To save the COR application as a favorite, we must connect from https://zapier.com/apps/cor/integrations.
Once inside Zapier and to setup the integration we can click on the button "Connect COR to 4000+ apps" to search from a list or directly type the name of the application with which we want to perform the integration from the search engine "Search for pairing apps".
COR Triggers
It is important to take into account which are the COR triggers to subsequently achieve the appropriate behavior according to the information we need to exchange with Zapier, the app we choose and COR. Within the platform we will have two differentiations:
- Actions: Create, Edit and Delete.
- Entities: Client, Project, Brand, Product, Task and User.
The following table shows the possible connections that can be established between triggers and entities:
Entity / Action | Client | Brand | Product | Project | Task | User |
Create | x | x | x | x | x | x |
Edit | x | x | x | x | ||
Delete | x | x | x | x | x |
COR Actions
Regarding the actions, we will only be able to create, edit or delete entities. After accessing the link detailed at the beginning of the article and selecting or searching for the app we need to integrate, Zapier will direct us to the creation of the action we want to perform:
In this example case we will create a client:
After selecting the type of action we must indicate the COR account from where we commonly access:
Once the account is selected we can "Test the Action", where Zapier validates the COR account previously informed:
Once we have tested the action we can create our client from Zapier by completing the fields:
Once we have completed the new client data we will click on "Continue" and COR will ask us to create action number 2:
In this case we will instruct Zapier to notify certain users when creating a client in COR. The steps are exactly the same as in action number 1:
We will have to indicate from which e-mail the notification is sent and to whom it will be addressed. Then we must indicate the message to be sent to the recipient (body of the mail):
Finally Zapier will make us test the new action (in this step it will inform us about the errors that may occur according to the configuration that we have made). Once the Zap has been tested and errors have been discarded, we will be able to publish it:
