Roles
COR has 6 default roles with specific permission settings for each of them. The roles, along with their default permissions are:
- C-Level: Has full control of the platform, designed for company executives.
- Director: Grants viewing and editing access to the entire platform, with the exception of user salaries, their hourly rates and general account settings. Directors can also grant other users access to the items for which they have permissions (all except salaries). This role is ideal for area managers.
- Project Manager: Access to view and create projects, clients and hours. By default, this user can only see the projects in which is a member. This type of user does not have metrics visibility.
- Collaborator: Only has access to the projects and tasks in which it is member. This user cannot create projects, but can create tasks and edit them.
- Freelancer: Only has access to the projects and tasks in which he/she is a member, without the possibility of editing anything. He can create tasks, change their status, add messages and attach files.
- Client: They have partial access to the projects in which they are a member. They can also view some sections of their assigned tasks, along with their deadlines. They can change the status of their tasks, add messages and attach files.
If necessary, the C-Levels have the option to change the permissions determined for each of the roles. This can be configured by following the steps listed in: Permission Templates
Default Permissions
C-Level and Directors can grant access to their teams to the sections and elements in which they already have access. The available permissions over those elements and sections are:
- View
- Edit
- Create
- Delete
- Archive (Tasks and Projects)
In addition to the different sections and elements, the permissions are also restrictive in terms of access to the different data of the platform. It is possible to restrict access based on the projects to which a user is assigned, based on the tasks assigned to them or based on the equipment to which the user belongs.
