To synchronize our Google Calendar with COR, we must start by clicking on our profile photo that is in the upper right margin. Here we can see that, among the different options, we find the "Calendar". Pressing it will open a new window with the information to configure it and add our tasks:
To start, we have to select the option based on the tasks that we want to be synchronized: in which we are collaborators, those that we are PM, those that we are followers or all in which we are a member. Then, we have to go to the "Google Calendar" tab and click on the URL to copy it.
Inside Calendar, at the bottom left we will find the button called "Other calendars", right next to this is the plus sign, which when pressed will offer us different options on how to merge the tools. We must select the option that says "From URL".
This is where we must paste the link already copied from COR and select if we want to make our calendar public or not. That is, if we want people with access to our Calendar to be able to view our COR tasks.
Once this is finished, click on the blue button "Add calendar" and our tasks will automatically appear.
Keep in mind that:
- The first calendar synchronization will be instantaneous, but subsequent ones may take time to be reflected.
- Tasks lasting less than one day will be listed as one more event.
- Tasks that last more than one day will appear at the top of the calendar.
- Only tasks with deadlines will be synchronized.
It is important to bear in mind that this action can be performed as many times as necessary to add as many calendars as we want. This can be the link of our tasks depending on the type of member we are, or the link of some other person from our agency (for this, we must request the URL that is indicated in your username).
When we have our Google calendar synchronized, we will be able to access COR tasks with just one click.
